Q. What is Thinkwise doing during this heightened health concern?
A. We continue to proactively engage in helping our Members and staff remain as safe as possible, following Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. Internally, we’ve augmented daily cleaning procedures during and after business hours. Until further notice, all community events have been postponed. Our team continues to adapt to these unchartered territories and will continue to keep the safety of our Membership and our staff top priority.
Q. Is my money safe during this pandemic?
A. Yes. Thinkwise Credit union has the financial strength to endure unfortunate times such as we are experiencing today. Your account is insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000. NCUA is the independent federal agency created by the U.S. Congress to regulate, charter and supervise federal credit unions. With the backing of the full faith and credit of the United States, NCUA operates and manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of account holders in all federal credit unions and a majority of state-chartered credit union. As added protection for Thinkwise Members, your credit union also provides additional coverage from American Share Insurance up to $250,000.*
Q. What services will be available to me during this time?
A. All products and services are still available for use. For your personal well-being, we encourage use of our self-service channels such as ATMs, online banking, chat, telephone banking or some of our newest technology such as Apple/Google/Samsung Pay, remote deposit capture, Account-2-Account transfer or use of our website to apply for a loan from the convenience of your own home. As we continue to see an influx of phone calls to our contact center, we recommend using chat or secure messaging via online banking. With either form of communication, we will assist you in a timely manner.
